Cyril Sebastian, M.D.
Board Certified Neurosurgeon
Dr. Cyril Sebastian obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Tufts University in Boston. He completed his internship and residency in neurological surgery at the University of Kansas in Kansas City in 2001. He went on to serve honorably in the U.S. Navy in Okinawa, Japan and San Diego, California.
After his honorable discharge from the Navy, he spent a year undergoing further training in complex spinal surgery at Stanford University. He subsequently moved to Pensacola, Florida, where he had a busy neurosurgical practice. Dr. Sebastian recently moved to Texas with his wife and two young children, and now has joined the staff of the Greater Houston Neurosurgery Center.
Dr. Sebastian has extensive training and experience in all aspects of neurosurgical care. He specializes in the treatment of degenerative spinal conditions, trauma of the brain and spine, and spinal instrumentation. He also has extensive experience with the surgical treatment of tumors and infections of the brain and spine.
Dr. Sebastian is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and is an active member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgery, and the North American Spine Society.
