Greater Houston Neurosurgery Center’s History

In 1997 neurosurgeon Dr. Peter M. Shedden established the Greater Houston Neurosurgery Center with the purpose of providing skilled, comprehensive neurosurgical care to the residents of The Woodlands, Montgomery County and the greater Northwest Houston area. The main office established in The Woodlands is supplemented with satellite offices in the surrounding communities. The comprehensive neurosurgical practice includes evaluation and treatment of all conditions of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nervous system. Over the years, GHNC has added complementary sub specialists in the fields of orthopedic spinal surgery and neuropsychology in order to provide patients with a well-rounded team of physicians.
